Llwyddo'n Lleol 2050

Arfor – Llwyddo’n Lleol 2050 is to show you that there are exciting opportunities and a bright future available in the West Wales areas. It is a joint program by Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Gwynedd and Anglesey Councils which looks to use entrepreneurship and develop the economy to support the strongholds of the Welsh language and, through that, maintain the language.

One of Arfor’s projects is Llwyddo’n Lleol 2050. With the emigration of families and young people being recognised as one of the main reasons for the decline in the number of Welsh speakers in the strongholds, the aim of Llwyddo’n Lleol 2050 is to convince young people and young families who are in danger of leaving or who have already left that it is possible to have a bright future, with a good job within an exciting field, in their indigenous community.
