Although the details of each every professional e-mail will vary, the general content will be the same.
TIP 1
Email address
You will need to use a professional email address. It may be necessary to create a new one instead of using one with a silly name.
TIP 3
Appearance
Use a font that is clear and easy to read, e.g Arial, Times New Roman, Calibri, font size 12 and in black. You should avoid using bold lettering, italics or capital letters throughout.
TIP 2
Accuracy
Punctuation and accuracy are extremely important in professional email, this is not a text message. Use an application to correct the email before sending it.
TIP 4
Emoji or not?
Do not use emoji's as these are not appropriate in a formal e-mail.
